About AXG

This field of sleep disorders and treatment can be overwhelming. It is our goal to provide you with the knowledge and resources to make it simple.

Meet Jason

Lead Sleep Technologist and Clinical Sleep Educator

Jason has been enamored with the sleep disorders field ever since he started in 2000. He loves being in a cutting edge field that melds technology, healthcare, and the ability to improve the quality of people’s lives. Several members of his family have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. He knows first hand that the proper diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea can improve the quality of life, relationships, and literally save lives.

He holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Gonzaga University where he was a pitcher for the baseball team.

You can find him communicating with CPAP/Bilevel users to find ways to improve the quality of their sleep on the sleep apnea forum: FreeCPAPAdvice.com/forum as well as through his YouTube Channel Video Series.

He believes that education is critical in understanding and treating sleep disorders such as sleep apnea.

He has worked in Sleep Medicine as a lead technologist for large hospital networks, a small private lab, and has been involved in a long term university sleep research project.

Jason enjoys playing in his “old man basketball league”, coaching his sons basketball and baseball teams, and can find the fun in just about anything. He hopes to get some free time to turn his cartoon drawings to life with animation.

He has served as a scoring technician for Stanford Universities A.P.P.L.E.S. research study. He has a unique knowledge of various aspects of the sleep disorders field. In addition to massive amounts of scoring, he also spends one day a week helping patients get the most out of their CPAP treatment by solving current problems and helping them avoid future pitfalls. This is the true catalyst of this website. Jason is a believer that many of these patients have been ignored or misinformed by others in the profession.

This field of sleep disorders can be overwhelming. It is our goal to help you learn the basics about your sleep disorder so that you can ask more informed questions and be an ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN YOUR OWN TREATMENT.

This is how FreeCPAPAdvice.com was born. So many frustrated people coming in with such easy problems to fix. Instantly their quality of life is improved. Through the internet and this site, the number of people assisted is much larger.
